Homemade Crunchwrap Supreme

Please excuse the second post of the day... but hey, I made something that didn't involve chicken!

Now, I don't eat fast food very often but something I enjoy occasionally is the crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell. Well... I found a recipe to make them at home! I hope you enjoy!

Original Recipe: Crunchwrap Recipe

Ingredients:

• Large Flour Tortillas (one for each person, plus an extra one to tear up)
• Tortilla Chips
• 1 Pound of Ground Beef
• 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning
• Sour Cream
• Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
• Lettuce
• Tomatoes

Instructions:

1. Brown the beef in a frying pan, and add the taco seasoning.
2. Crunch up some tortilla chips and put them in a bowl.
3. Warm up the tortillas one at a time as you are ready to make the crunch wrap, otherwise it will cool and be too difficult to fold.
4. Lay out the tortilla, spread some sour cream in the middle of it and pile on the hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and crushed tortilla chips in whatever order you desire.
5. Fold the tortilla. Start at the bottom and fold into the center continuing around the whole thing until the filling is enclosed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You may not be able to close the whole thing, if this is the case...  rip a piece off of another tortilla and place it on top of all your center toppings.
6. CAREFULLY (I burned myself a few times the last time I made these) place the tortilla in a warm frying pan seam side down. Press down with a spatula for a few minutes until golden brown. Flip the crunch wrap over and let the bottom side brown as well.

and that's it! throw that baby on a plate and enjoy! :)
